40 Days of Prayer & Fasting

January 1st - February 9th 2023

Fasting is not as much about food as it is about focus. The Bible gives many examples of the power that comes with prayer and fasting. We see God’s people collectively gathered in prayer and fasting to seek favor, deliverance, or provision.  The sermon series How To Pray will be available at each of our Sunday morning services, the 40 Day Devotional is available for free at the campus, or a digital version is available through the Audacity.Church app.
The links below include a digital copy of the Prayer Devotional, a reading plan from  Bible App, the daily declaration of Pastor Ronnie, and coming soon will be a list of UpperRoom corporate prayer opportunities.

Pastor Ronnie's Daily Declaration

Blessed are you Father Lord our God, King of the Universe. The Lord God of Israel, Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my borders, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that  it might not bring me pain. I will be strong and courageous knowing you will do what you have said. I will not be discouraged or dismayed. For the Lord God,  even the God of David is with me. He will not leave or forsake me, until all the work for the service of the House of the Lord is finished.  For my determined purpose is that I may know Him, that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly, and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection which it exerts over believers, and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed in spirit into His likeness even to His death. For this reason I bow my knees before the Father from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of His glory He may  strengthen with the power through His Spirit in my inner being so that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith - that being rooted and grounded in love,  I may have the strength  to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and the length and height and depth and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that I may be filled with all the fulness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly that all that I ask or think according to the power at work within me to Him be the glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus through all generations for ever and ever.  Amen
